Graignamanagh get the better of Bennettsbridge

It was a welcome boost for Graig hurling as the Junior hurlers defeated Bennettsbridge on a scoreline of  4.12 to 1.13 to reach the Semi of the All Co. League. Graig  started brightly and led by 6 points after 15 min , 2 from Eddie Walsh, 2 from Cathal dunne 1 each from Ed dowling & adam Kennedy. The bridge fought back to within 3 points near the end of the first half only for Cathal Dunne to stretch the lead again with 2 points and Adam kennedy smashed the bridge net with a cracking goal to give a comfortable lead at the break. The Bridge upped their game after the restart and reduced the deficit to a single point by the 47th min. An Eddie Walsh goal in the 50th min rekindled Graigs fire and Jim O'Donnell struck for the 3rd goal 60 seconds later. Brendan Foley, Jas Meaney, Paul Hamilton & James Doyle tacked on points. The Bridge's agony was compounded by a 4th goal from Eddie walsh  in the closing minutes of the game. Graig now face Mooncoin in the Semi Final.
