Once again this year the supporters of Graignamanagh GAA Club came up trumps as over 300 of you bought tickets for the big draw. We cannot thank you all enough for your support as along with the Local lotto this is our biggest fundraiser for the year. These funds help us to run our club and keep our playing field and Clubhouse in tip top condition. With teams from u6 to adult level & Camogie teams, probably close to 300 people use the pitch for training and matches every week. Great credit is due to our hard working field committee of Joe Fox, Jim Whelan, John Doyle & Pat Doyle for keeping our grounds in pristine condition. Thanks again to all our buyers and the hard working committee for making the draw such a success. Thanks to Adrian Bolger who travelled to Piltown on Friday evening with the majority of the tickets and to Thomas Holden Hoby who travelled down on Tuesday morning with the last bunch of tickets sold. Unfortunately we didn’t have a winner in the first draw. The results were published here last week. We had a winner in the 2nd draw held Tuesday 24th. Congratulations to Mary R O’Shea, Fairmount House, Convent Road who was the lucky winner of €500.
