This All county League clash with Lisdowney was a very entertaining game for those who braved the elements on this bitterly cold April afternoon. The sand spread in February was still visible due to the lack of any growth for the last month. By the 8th minute Lisdowney had 3 points on the scoreboard ( Thanks to Jim Whelan for keeping the scoreboard) By the 14th min the sides were level 2 points from lee Kinsella & 1 from Seamus Kavanagh.  Bernard Hennessy sent over a long range free in the 24th min to edge Graig ahead. Our lead was soon snatched away when Rory Hickey whipped a ground shot to the net. Lee Kinsella reduced the lead with a pointed free just before the break. By the 40th min only two points separated the sides, 2 points Eddie Walsh 1 James Meaney. Aaron Fogarty & Lee Kinsella traded points to leave it 1-9 to 0-9 on the stroke of 50. Lisdowney proved to be more accurate in the closing minutes and tacked on 3 more points to run out comfortable winners.
