Ógra U 16's grind out super victory over favourites St. Lachtains 06/08/2010

The clouds were grey over Bennetsbridge this eveing and things were looking even dimmer for the U16 Hurlers of Ógra Graignamanagh/Blacks & Whites when they trailed by 9 points late in the 1st half and it looked like the freshford boys were crusing to victory. A cracking goal by Patrick Dowling and 2 points from Brian Barcoe was all they had to show for 25 mins of hurling, with Freshford scoring 2-08 in the same peroid. Brian Barcoe rattled the net  in the 25th min followed shortly by antoher rasper from young Martin Kelly. James Doyle and Ryan O'Halloran tacked on 1 point each before the break to leave the half time score a respctiable 3-04 to 2-10

Game on-

The late scores in the 1st half instilled belief in the Ogra boys and they came out fireing on all cylinders in the 2nd half. They defended like warriors restricting St Lachtain to 3 points in the half while James Doyle & Ryan O'Halloran went on a scoring spree, James scored 1-02 and Ryan 0-06.
