Our Presentation night last Friday in Driscolls beer garden was a great success with nearly all our hurling & football champs turning out in style to accept their medals.Plenty of family and friends were on hand to give great support. Thanks to all that turned up on the night, we hope you enjoyed it. Thanks to Richard for all his help, for Rita for the wonderful food and to Two of a kind for the great music.

Medals from three competitions were presented on the night: Junior Football County Championship, Southern Hurling League & Southern Hurling Championship

A special presentation of Southern League & Championship medals was made to our faithful medic Colette Foley who helped out our Junior team regularly during the year.

Junior Hurler of the Year 2007 – Nicky Moylan

Intermediate Hurler of the Year 2007- Ger Dowling

Footballer of the Year 2007- Neil Coady

Club Person of the Year 2007- Paul Ryan

Presents to those who were married in the last year: John Flood, Jarlath Bolger & Ger Dowling

The club congratulated the following players who represented the club at county level this year:

Ray Coady who represented the club on Kilkenny U-21 team.

James Cahill & Eddie Walsh who were part of the Kilkenny Intermediate team.

Hugie Flood who got a call up to the Kilkenny Football team.

CJ Browne and Kevin Cushen who were part of the Kilkenny Vocational schools team.

Thomas O Donnell who was selected to attend the DJ Carey hurling school of excellence in July.

Michael Bolger was selected as a representative of the boy’s school to play in the exhibition game in Croke Park during half time of the Leinster final. Thanks to everyone who helped out in the organizing of the night. For the few that were not able to attend your medal/s will be available for collect at our AGM.
