As outlined in previous weeks a new fence was erected on top of the wall at the soccer pitch end, and this week the stop nets have been replaced and extended by adding an extra pole, the new nets have been tied down to the fence, hence there will be no more chasing balls that stray into the soccer pitch. This net will also greatly benefit the Soccer Club and eliminate their problems with balls travelling down to the hurling pitch. The nets at the town end are also being replaced and should be completed by the weekend. These works along with the laying of Astroturf in the goals and in front of the dugouts was partly funded with the proceeds of the Piltown Draw, for which we thank all the people of Graig namanagh who bought tickets. The Club will be holding a Special draw for our prizes won in the Piltown draw over the summer. The big prize will be a two night stay in Kellys Hotel, Rosslare plus a few others. As a thank you, all those who bought tickets from our Club will be entered into this draw. Best of luck, results will be published here in the next few weeks
