Six teams in all competed last Saturday in the annual Graignamanagh Juvenile GAA Club U10 Hurling Tournament. Graig had two teams involved, along with Mount Leinster Rangers, Barrow Rangers, Burren Rangers, and St. Mullins. There was plenty of tea, coffee and sandwiches on offer to the large crowd on what was a glorious morning. The committee would like to thank especially those parents who gave up their time to serve tea and coffee and to help make the day a thoroughly enjoyable and successful one. Also a word of thanks to our referees, Alan Foley and John Byrne.  Both under 10 teams won the ‘A’ and the ‘C’ Final, with Barrow Rangers picking up the ‘B’ Final. The A Final saw Graig take on Mount Leinster Rangers. Both teams put on a fantastic display with some classy hooking and blocking and also some fine scores. The C final saw Graig cross swords with Carlow outfit Burren Rangers under the charges of local man Jarlath Bolger. Both teams produced a highly competitive match with Graig running out eventual winners. The captains on the day were Jack Ryan and Michael O’ Neill. Both thanked their coaches Darragh Kelly and Peter Murphy for all their hard work throughout the year and they also thanked their parents for their support. The boys play in the Mount Leinster Rangers Tournament this Saturday morning in Borris at 10am bringing an end to another very successful year.
