After a very delayed start this eagerly anticipated game finally got underway. Two evenly matched teams fought hard for every ball and Graig were playing the better football, but the Railyard led by 1-01 to 0-01 from Michael Bolger. Further points from James Doyle, Brandon Fenlon, two from Michael Coady and one from James Meaney, kept Graig very much alive but the Railyard also snuck in another 1-01 before half time to lead by 2 points. Halftime score Graig 0-06 Railyard 2-02. The 2nd half finished even the Railyard adding on 6 points. While Graiguenamanagh added a goal from Michael Coady and points from Ryan O’Halloran and Brandon Fenlon. Try as they might the Graig lads were unable to break down the Railyard defence and were very disappointed to loose this one. Final score 1-09 to 2-08.

The boys also play the Railyard in the Championship Final and no doubt they will do their very best to reverse the result next time.
