The U14’s had a thrilling win last Wednesday in the ¼ Final of the championship against Dunnamaggin in front of strong local support in Callan. Despite a sluggish start our boys ably led by team Captain Stuart Maher, battled back to level at half time 1.06 to 2.03. A very strong 2nd half performance in which Patrick Nolan asserted looked to have earned us the spoils, but for a dramatic goal for Dunnamaggin deep in stoppage time to level the match. Despite trailing for most of extra time, Terry Dreelan & Patrick Nolan combined to allow Nolan seal a most satisfying victory with a late goal leaving the final score 2.16 3.09. Best of luck to the boys in the Semi final against the Emeralds this weekend and please support the boys on the day.
